Champ is a Great Pyrenees who adores being a Therapy Dog.
Champ
was adopted from MS
Great Pyrenees Rescue. He had been roaming
the streets of MS and when he got onto the highway, some kind person
called the rescue and his owner relinquished him. Champ
is indeed, a gentle giant, and loves all people,
but he especially loves children. He has been a Therapy Dog
since May of 2005. Champ also goes to the local schools to help
promote responsible pet ownership through the local Humane Society.
He has his own blogspot which mostly revolves around his Therapy Dog work.
www.champsspace.blogspot.comHe
lives with his handler, Dana Mayer, but he is an independent dog,
true to the breed, and prefers to think of himself as "the boss".
