Ava picked me! I was
driving down highway 85 in 2005 and looked over in the grassy ditch
to find a very pitiful lost looking stray dog. Well, she's not a
stray anymore. Since I am active in rescue work I placed her in a
loving home and she came back after 7 months. So then I decided to
keep her and give her a job! She has a forever home with Jim and I
as the perfect Pet Therapy dog. Who ever says that Rottweilers are a
vicious breed they need to go back and research it a little
better. They are very loving. Watching Ava with all the patients is
very rewarding and she is so peaceful about the way she looks at
them. Her eyes tell them that everything will be OK. I hope to have
many more years with her as my PET THERAPY Dog.
