Let me introduce you to Duchess my 9 year old sheltie. I have been with the group since April of 09. Duchess and I did therapy visits back in Massachusetts when I was working at a rest home. Everyone loved her visit. Duchess is a blue merle color which always gets OH and Aww's wherever we go. One recent visit to Shriners was memorable. A young girl was lying in bed and asked that I put Duchess on the bed with her. She loved petting her and giving her kisses, her Mom even took a picture of them together, the smile that radiated from her brought tears to my eyes. I love seeing the joy on peoples faces when they are petting Duchess and she loves it too.
