My
name is Jackson and I started Therapy Dog work at almost two years
old. I was born in North Carolina and my father is from Tennessee. I
love to do Therapy work and especially enjoy visiting children and
participating in reading programs. I keep busy competing in
Obedience and Rally events and am currently training for Agility and
Field Work. My handler and I have written a book we love to read to
children about overcoming life's obstacles. Even before I was born,
my handler was looking for a potential Therapy dog as a tribute to a
friend who suffered a traumatic brain injury. I love to play with my
older brother, who is also a Lab, Max. I consider my opportunity to
volunteer as a Therapy dog as an honor and a gift.
