This dashing young dogs name is Ori. He is a Portuguese water dog who began going on visits in May of 2006. His handler’s name is Sarah Daniels.
Sarah got Ori registered as a therapy dog because she wanted to participate in activities with him that was not as intense as other, competitive events.
Sarah and Ori enjoy going to Carolina Behavioral the best. Sarah said “It gives me a chance to keep working with my dog and improve his tricks, to show off to the residents/patients of the places we visit”.
Sarah is also a member of the Portuguese Water Dog Club of America.
When we asked Sarah to tell us a memorable experience from a visit she said “I don’t have just one! They've all been fun and memorable, and a good opportunity to let my dog be around other people - especially since he can tell so much more about them than I can!”
