This is Miss Buddy, she is 6 years old Yellow Lab who found us. She showed up in our yard, she was very scared and would creep up on her belly, because of this we weren’t sure what she was (a boy or girl) so we just started saying “Here Buddy” to get her to come to us, hence the name.

Once it stuck there was no changing it. She has been the best dog ever, she gets along with all other 4 legged friends & two legged ones aren’t bad either.

Buddy recently got a new German Shepherd sister, Roxie who is only a year old. Roxie is Miss Buddy’s personal trainer, trying to get her back into shape. Anyone who has met Buddy knows she has a little weight problem.
After we got Roxie, I felt that Buddy needed some “Mom & Me” time & I thought therapy dogs would be the perfect fit for Buddy.

We have only been on 2 visits so far but of us are having a great time. Buddy’s tail never stops wagging on our visits & she is fast asleep within minutes on our trip home from a visit.

My only regret is that I didn’t start doing this sooner.
